The General Presidents’ Maintenance Committee for Canada and The National Maintenance Council for Canada (“us”, “we”, or “our”) operates (the “Site”). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use and disclosure of Personal and Company Information we receive from users of the Site.

We use your Personal and Company Information to administer a safety awards program in the Canadian Contract Maintenance Industry. By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

Information Collection and Use

While using our Site, we may ask you to provide us with certain personal and employer identifiable information that can be used to contact or identify yourself or another representative within your employer organization. Personal and Company identifiable information may include but is not limited to your first and last name, company name, job site(s), company e-mail, company phone number, company mailing address, craft hours by trade and the number of recordable incidents.

The above information is collected for the purposes of administering a safety awards program which will be used to determine and subsequently contact winning organizations. With exception to announcing the winning organizations and the details associated with their achievements at specific project(s) the information is not otherwise shared and will remain confidential.

Log Data

Like many site operators, we collect information that your browser sends whenever you visit our Site (“Log Data”).

We use a third-party service, Google Analytics, that collects, monitors and analyzes this Log Data, which may include information such as your computer’s Internet Protocol (“IP”) address, browser type, browser version, the pages of our Site that you visit, the time and date of your visit, the length of time spent on those pages and other statistics.


We may use your Personal and Company Information to contact you with newsletters, promotional materials and other information that is pertinent to the annual operation and participation in the safety awards program.

Company representatives will be contacted to verify the accuracy of their submissions to our Site. In addition, affected parties from winning organizations will be notified of their successful nominations and invited to attend an annual awards banquet.
